Geological museum exhibition photographs, 1953-1958.

Photographs recording the Oil Geology Hall, including models and individual sections, Dept. of Preparation and Installation mechanics and painters installing the Hall, many views of the entire Hall, and exhibit cases containing information on petroleum. Also includes paintings by Robert Kane, a Museum staff artist, showing uses of petroleum in civilizations ranging from neolithic Europe to early 19th century America. One of the prints was made from the original provided by Standard Oil Company. Photographs were taken by Alex J. Rota, Leon Boltin, and Robert Elwood Logan. Photographs are identified.
